When we started LFC, catering was our core.

Then Little Food Daily came along and we created subscriptions, single-person meals, boxed meals and party food delivery as a sister universe.

But somewhere along the way we paused and asked ourselves – were the audiences for the two so different? And why did we start LFC in the first place?

We started it for you, the lover of good food. And our dream was to journey with you through all of life’s occasions, whether they be big or little.

Little Food Co. has a big perspective on food.

When it comes to table matters, we want to be top of mind. When you dream it, we’ll dream it bigger, because nothing you want from food is ever too little for us.

Bhakti Mehta is five foot nothing-if-not-food. In 2010, she gave up a steady job in media to pursue her passion as a full-time chef. And so began the journey of Little Chef B - as she came to be famously known - with a food company that embodied the qualities of big heart and hustle.

Moving away from the model followed by event caterers at the time, Mehta began customising a gourmet experience for her patrons - she brought the party home. Instead of changing the business, she created a whole new space within it. Now in her 15th year as an entrepreneur, Mehta continues to stay on the lookout for the Next Big Thing in the food industry.

  “A trend may grab people’s attention,” she says. “But following the herd isn’t in the company’s DNA. We do things the LFC way. Our motto is simple: Little goes a long way.”
